The Poultry Health Management School is an
educational outreach workshop series offered by a multi-state consortium of
universities (i.e., Western University's College of Veterinary Medicine
(Pomona, CA), Purdue University, the University of Wisconsin,
& Michigan State University. Together, these institutions host
the Poultry Health Management Schools (PHMS), a series of poultry
health and management workshops for poultry managers, as well as public and
private poultry health practitioners. The Poultry Health
Management Schools offers team-taught didactic and laboratory instruction
workshops and seminars for international poultry industry managers of
turkey, broiler and layer flocks. The PHMS are directed by Dr.
Teresa Morishita (Western University) and are Co- instructed by
extension veterinarians, poultry extension scientists and industry
scientists and managers from around the nation.
